NEW at INDIE BOOK SOURCE ---- Meet Author Chris McClean ---- Chris McClean is a graphic designer and short-story writer. He created the CrimeFighters: Defenders of Justice, which is a group of diverse super heroes that work together to fight crime. Along with writing fun short stories for younger audiences, he also works with various non-profit organizations to feed the homeless and work with delinquent children in Philadelphia. Chris spent over five years in law-enforcement and uses his experience and education to demand his young readers' attention with realistic scenarios throughout his stories. Chris also writes adult fiction under the pen name C.L. Lowry. He released his suspense debut-novel, The Black Badge: Confessions of Corruption, in February of 2016. Chris McClean was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Philadelphia is where Chris spends most of his time giving back to those in need. One of his goals is to rebuild the gap between law enforcement officers and the communities they serve.
