Her second novel Maggie follows the life of a strong frontier woman known for her bravery during an Indian raid in the Tygart Valley of West Virginia. A collection of short stories, Tales of the Frontier, describes the life of the War Chief Killbuck and those whose lives he touched during the tumultuous French and Indian War and the founding of America. Bonnie lives with her husband Frank Miller in Mason, OH and is retired from the University of Cincinnati where when taught English and was the former Director of the Writing Lab.
